TASTING NOTES: An essential white variety of Bordeaux, France. Semillon is known to produce some of the longest lasting white wines ever made. This wine was harvested with lemony fruit and lively acidity, which has developed in the bottle to produce subtle grapefruit and citrus aromas with a hint of cashew. The palate is rich, and builds honey notes, yet the acidity provides excellent structure and finish.
Suggested foods: Smoked trout with watercress purée and pickled beetroot or a dish with light spice, kedgeree
