The 2019 growing season was perfect for both Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which eventuated in two exceptional wines. Matured in a combination of French oak and stainless steel then blended to deliver a perfectly balanced wine. The Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure and length while the Merlot fills out the palate with plush dark fruit flavours.
TASTING NOTES: Expressive aromas of ripe red and black fruit followed by hints of spice. Supple body and medium tannins envelop flavours of berry and cherry which linger on the palate through a long, smooth finish. An outstanding wine with depth and power to reward short term cellaring but with a pleasing approachability which makes it difficult to resist now.
SUGGESTED FOODS: Try it with rib-eye or braised beef cheeks
