Clovely Estate was established in 1997, following extensive research into the South Burnett’s potential for grape production which identified it as an outstanding opportunity for Queensland wine industry growth.

With very similar viticultural and climatic conditions to the Hunter Valley region in New South Wales, Queensland’s South Burnett Valley is ideal for wine production.

Since that time, Clovely Estate has expanded to own or manage 175 hectares of grapes at Moffatdale.

Clovely Estate distributes wine under its own brands in Australia and overseas, and sells surplus wine on the bulk market, including to some of Australia’s best known producers.

Clovely Estate is owned by the Heading family which has farmed in the South Burnett continuously for over 100 years.
